Bond 23 filmmakers will be spending time in Turkey during January and February of 2012.
The Varda Railway Bridge in the Taurus Mountains is set to be a location in Skyfall and according to press reports, crew are already preparing the location. Daniel Craig will be on location in February, after shooting sequences in Istanbul.
The rail bridge in question seems to provide a similar backdrop to the earlier rumored Konkan Railway in India, a substitute in southern Turkey now appears to have been discovered.

I believe that Casino Royal and Quantum of Solace fell considerably short of expectations at the box office.
The remedies, if it is not broken don’t fix it, return to the extravagant settings, sardonic tongue in cheek humour, and glamorous heroes and heroines of the previous Bond films. The last two films simply did not shape up and were not as good as many merely average spy films.

Casino Royale was a fantastic move from the increasingly idiotic and Will Smith Independance day- esque Brosnan Bond films. On set problems seem to have hampered parts of QofS but it still has the right tone for what they should be looking for.
US Box office results:
CasRoy $167,365,000
Qof S $169,368,427
Most grossing Bond of all time….I think Mr Keating you miss underestimate the Bond watching public. They have brains. They want films with brains. Keep out the humour and the OTT action and get rid of the Shakey Action Cam which ruined parts of QofS. then SkyFall will bust the $170 Mill mark.

The crew is now in Adana and principal shooting has begun at the historical (Imperial Germany built) Adana Railway Station. Some bridges and domestic sites have been shut off from public access to offer the film crew a most undisturbed filming environment. Adana has a huge university community and we would very much appreciate Mr. Craig’s and the crew’s attendance at a press conference at the Balcalı Campus of Çukurova University.
