British Bond site MI6 were the first to break the news that Tonia Sotiropoulou, a Greek actress, will be playing a role in the pre titles sequence set in Turkey.
The news hit all the major sources today after MI6 found the actress had left her privacy settings on Facebook the default… wide open!

She thanked her friends and family and reportedly said the following to her local papers: “This is the happiest day of my life so far! I feel very lucky and blessed, but basically, I am very grateful that this happened, for my family and my friends who believe in me and support trying to do. I will do the best, I am very proud because somehow it might be something that will advertise in Greece and I am happy about it.”

The first major announcement from EON Productions and Sony Pictures came on 3rd November 2011 in London when the principle cast was announced, along with a rough plot line. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
