The world’s media were given a glimpse of the filming of the pre-titles sequence late last month as the first unit for Skyfall joined their second unit colleagues to shoot a destructive sequence in the famed Istanbul Bizarre.
Splash TV were on location to cover the shoot and a new video reveals Ben Collins (famed for being UK Top Gear’s Stig) driving the Land Rover with Bond and Eve inside.
Last week the production of the 23rd James Bond film, Skyfall, centered on Istanbul, where the pre-titles sequence is set.
Some great behind the photos were captured by the world’s media.
The second unit are working hard on the pre-titles sequence, an action sequence that takes place in the heart of Istanbul and involves James Bond, Eve and an Audi.
Some of the action was caught on camera by observers over at Turkish website, on5yirmi5.com.
We understand that Daniel Craig joined the crew on location recently – however he is not to be seen in these photos. A double stands in for the Bond star as the action takes place.

The replica scottish lodge that has been the centre of attention on Hankley Common the last few days was given a proper sending off, on the Skyfall crew’s last night of shooting at the building.

Further developments are happening on what has come to be called, at least in our office, Skyfall Common.
The photos (after the jump) should give everyone an indication of why they simply could not film the scenes on the real location in Scotland.

Javier Bardem was spotted filming an action sequence alongside Daniel Craig in London earlier in the week.
His ‘look’ for the film has been a guarded secret, but now it appears he has donned a wig or dyed his hair blonde for part or all of the picture.
Previously, the name of the character, to date a closely guarded secret of Skyfall, was leaked.
One reader contacted Bond23.net recently to report that further London location shooting was taking place on the Mall, in central London.
Filming took place on 25th February in the late afternoon – our source was informed that the cast and crew were not showing up until after midday but the crew were already on location, preparing M’s Jaguar for shooting.
We understand that the scene involved Rory Kinnear, Judi Dench and 007 star Daniel Craig.

James Bond and his old favourite car, the Aston Martin DB5 were spotted on location in Glencoe, Scotland. Judi Dench and Craig spent a day shooting in near freezing temperatures. Glencoe was where the literary 007′s family hails from.
